As you may have deduced, I am no longer living in Thailand. You may have come to the conclusion that I was kidnapped, lost in the jungle, or ended up in a Thai jail after a Brokedown Palace moment, but I assure you it was nothing that scandalous, glamorous, or exciting. I just simply came back to California. I spent a little more than a year in Thailand and I don't think I even had the opportunity to scratch the surface of my experiences there on this blog ,mainly because there was very little access to convenient, fast, and *quiet* internet. Luckily, I had my handy dandy camera to document many of my adventures and now that I have an internet connection that is faster than 8k I will upload them here for your viewing pleasure.

The trip was overall a good experience. I got to see and do a lot of things that I never thought I would have the opportunity to do. Life was relatively uncomplicated and simple unlike life in the U.S. I'm not going to lie and say that it wasn't a challenge. Food, communication barriers, and home sickness did pose some problems but it was a learning experience that I would never give back. I learned some Thai, made some friends, and saw lots of really cool and interesting things. Here is just a small sampling of my time in Thailand. Enjoy!

That's sooo AWESOME that you took a chance and lived in such a completely different culture for a year.

I took a very last-minute trip to Thailand last November. As in, I found a bike tour on Monday and caught a flight to Chiang Mai on Friday. I enjoyed every single minute. And I never thought I would go! Some of your pictures looked familiar; I'm sure that my bike tour took me to some of the same places.

It's just so cool that you did that. And there's no reason why you couldn't do it again in another place!

To me, Bangkok is always one of the best places to consider for a holiday. Friendly folks, nice food, shopping sprees, entertaining night life, etc. Read more

Packer and movers delhiI think the thinking is, in the comic books, I should pack as much onto a page as possible,
because, you know, it's kind of the cheaper format, and you want to give readers as much as you can for their dollar.Packer and movers in Chennai
